As an onsite SLP supporting students in grades 6–12, you will expand your clinical and leadership skills while collaborating with a committed school team, bringing meaningful support to approximately 50 students on your caseload. Managing the full scope of IEPs and assessments, you’ll experience diverse workplace practices and enhance your resume–all while making a positive difference.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active CA SLP license or eligible for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status, welcomed
- Experience with school-based caseloads, particularly grades 6-12, strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing IEPs
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy to students, grades 6–12, onsite
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, ensuring all services are delivered as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct timely evaluations, assessments, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
