Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in San Diego, CA

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience working with pediatric populations
- Knowledge and practical skills in ASL or experience with students who are deaf/hard of hearing highly preferred
- Eligibility for state licensure in California
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs in a school setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Offer education and training to school personnel on speech and language development
- Adapt therapy materials to accommodate students’ unique communication modes, including ASL as needed
