Looking to make a meaningful impact as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist? This contract opportunity focuses on serving middle and high school students (grades 6–12) with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students. What we’re looking for:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC or eligible CFY)
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric and adolescent populations
- Strong background in school-based settings, including knowledge of IEP processes and best practices
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades 6–12
- Manage a caseload of around 50 students, balancing therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and recordkeeping
- Complete assessments, write and implement IEPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Support students’ individual communication needs and advocate for appropriate interventions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive school environment
