Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience providing school-based therapy or working with school-aged children is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with special education teams, staff, and families
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language assessments, interventions, and direct therapy to a small, diverse caseload of students
- Schedule and provide therapy sessions over two half days per week, optimizing support for each student
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in student support meetings and contribute expertise to IEP planning
- Communicate progress and collaborate with teachers, classroom support staff, and families to foster student development
