Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be in the process of obtaining it
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Genuine passion for supporting the communication development of school-aged children
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Perform assessments and document progress through clear, timely reporting
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support students’ individual needs
- Consult with school staff on strategies for improving student outcomes
- Attend relevant meetings for student planning and progress updates
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet each student’s unique learning style
