Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and CCC-SLP certification required
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings (schools, CFY, healthcare, etc.) preferred
- Proficiency or exposure to American Sign Language (ASL) is highly preferred
- Background in working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and a flexible, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments and deliver evidence-based speech/language therapy to students per their IEPs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers for comprehensive student support
- Develop individualized treatment plans and update progress records, ensuring compliance with all school and legal requirements
- Support and facilitate communication strategies, including alternative and augmentative communication where appropriate
