School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Vinton, Virginia

This contract, onsite position allows you the flexibility to choose full or part-time hours—tailored to your schedule and preferences—for the full 2026-2027 school year.
You will support students from PreK through high school, conducting evaluations, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with a supportive multi-disciplinary team. Whether you are an experienced SLP-CCC, a Clinical Fellow, or an SLPA eager to broaden your skills, this opportunity offers both professional growth and the rewarding experience of helping students succeed in their learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent for SLPA
- Current Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with school-age populations is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Providing both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintaining accurate documentation that meets state and district requirements
- Participating in IEP and student support meetings
- Receiving mentorship and supervision if you’re a Clinical Fellow
