Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology License (from Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, if applicable based on logged hours
- AT (Assistive Technology) experience, specifically with eye gaze and Accent device support (programming, calibration, maintenance)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect services to students and collaborate with educational teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to conduct evaluations for private school referrals
- Solid professional references available upon request
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech-language therapy, with a particular focus on advanced assistive technology for one student at the high school level
- Provide onsite direct services at the campus for two hours each week, with the remaining time for indirect/remote support
- Collaborate with the student’s educational team to facilitate communication goals
- Program, calibrate, and maintain eye gaze Accent devices for effective student use
- Supports may include both direct therapy, consultations, and conducting evaluations as needed
