Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience providing assessment and therapy in school settings is a plus
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
- Consult with teachers and staff to support students’ communication skills in the classroom
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
- Stay up to date with state and federal regulations related to school therapy services
