School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Oakland, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY applicants encouraged to apply
- Experience delivering speech therapy services in a school setting is highly valued
- Solid communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and write comprehensive reports
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide both direct and consultative speech-language services
- Maintain accurate and timely records on student progress and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ communication needs
- Engage with families and staff to support collaborative solutions
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
