Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active SLP license required; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- Experience in school-based settings, with strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially in educational environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivering remote services, as needed
- Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students, both in-person and via teletherapy if necessary
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized plans
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to support students in accessing curriculum
- Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for goal development and student support plans
