Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Schenectady, New York

Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CCC-SLP certification required
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Teletherapy experience is a plus
- Background supporting students with a variety of communication challenges and disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to middle school students in a self-contained classroom
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and family members
- Document services, progress, and maintain accurate student records in compliance with policies
- Adjust therapy strategies to fit each student’s unique needs and ensure optimal learning outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input regarding student goals and progress
