Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current license or certification as an SLP-CCC
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
- Proficient in teletherapy and traditional in-person therapy delivery
- Background working with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Comfortable adapting strategies for students with various disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions for middle school students, addressing diverse disorders and disabilities
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to support remote or hybrid learners
- Track and record student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Provide insights and training to staff and families to reinforce therapy techniques in multiple environments
- Support students’ academic and social success throughout the maternity leave coverage period
