Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current license or certification as an SLP-CCC
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Proficient in teletherapy and traditional in-person therapy delivery
  • Background working with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Comfortable adapting strategies for students with various disabilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions for middle school students, addressing diverse disorders and disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with teachers and parents
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to support remote or hybrid learners
  • Track and record student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Provide insights and training to staff and families to reinforce therapy techniques in multiple environments
  • Support students’ academic and social success throughout the maternity leave coverage period
