Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC certification
  • New York state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience working with pediatric and middle school populations
  • Skills in both in-person and teletherapy models preferred
  • Ability to manage a range of speech, language, and communication disorders

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to students in a self-contained classroom
  • Address a range of speech and language disorders and disabilities
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
