Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • State licensure, or eligibility to obtain, for providing SLP services in school settings
  • Experience with IEP processes, goal development, and documentation within schools or pediatric settings
  • Comfortable providing therapy both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage children, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Design and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services through onsite or virtual modalities, depending on student requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and other professionals to optimize learning outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress and services
  • Educate families and staff on strategies to support communication development
  • Adapt resources and techniques to meet diverse student backgrounds and abilities
