Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- State licensure, or eligibility to obtain, for providing SLP services in school settings
- Experience with IEP processes, goal development, and documentation within schools or pediatric settings
- Comfortable providing therapy both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage children, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Design and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual needs
- Deliver direct therapy services through onsite or virtual modalities, depending on student requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and other professionals to optimize learning outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress and services
- Educate families and staff on strategies to support communication development
- Adapt resources and techniques to meet diverse student backgrounds and abilities
