As a travel SLP supporting preschool learners ages 3–5, you’ll enhance your professional expertise through collaborative teamwork, creative problem-solving, and a deep focus on early intervention and child development. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and diagnosing speech and language disorders in preschool students
- Providing individualized and group therapy sessions
- Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating closely with IEP teams, families, and early childhood educators
- Delivering services both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
Qualifications:
- Current (or eligible) Oregon SLP license
- ASHA CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Background with pediatric populations, especially ages 3–5
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Flexibility in supporting learners across multiple locations
