Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual educational plans and student goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including educators, counselors, and families—to optimize student progress
- Document sessions, maintain up-to-date progress notes, and comply with school documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Provide training and resources for teachers and parents to support carryover and generalization of therapy strategies
