Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - St John, Kansas

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active speech-language pathology license, or eligibility to obtain in Kansas
- Previous experience providing pediatric SLP interventions, preferably in school-based settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt therapy plans for individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students from preschool through high school age
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy, both group and individual, focused on speech, language, fluency, and social communication goals
- Maintain clear documentation of services provided, progress monitoring, and IEP compliance
- Consult with teachers and school staff to integrate communication strategies across learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal-setting to ensure holistic student support
