Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially within school settings, is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Comfortable with assessment, intervention, and documentation for a variety of speech and language disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain documentation according to school and government guidelines
- Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with other educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful input to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt therapy to be engaging and effective for diverse learners
