Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year supervision available
- Strong background in pediatric assessment and intervention
- Experience working within a school or educational setting highly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and school-based therapy documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-based pediatric population
- Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions based on student needs
- Create detailed documentation and maintain records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations to multidisciplinary teams
- Advise and educate teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress and inclusion
- Deliver therapy in individual and group settings, adapting plans as needed
