Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Kansas or eligibility for state licensure
- Previous experience working with pediatric caseloads, preferably within a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP procedures and special education laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and compliance standards
- Engage with teachers, administration, and families to maximize student outcomes and support inclusive educational environments
- Offer consultation and resources to school staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations
