Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain required credentials for school-based SLP positions
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with IEP writing, progress monitoring, and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and deliver individualized therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to support students' educational progress
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP development
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Provide consultative support to staff for integrating communication strategies in the classroom
