A fully remote contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services. The role involves providing clinical supervision and guidance, along with direct support for students in a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising two full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Preparing, developing, and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individual Service Plans (ISPs), including speech therapy goals
- Participating in IEP meetings for district-placed students to advocate for student needs and care plans
- Reviewing and approving quarterly progress reports to track student development
- Overseeing session documentation completed by SLPAs for accuracy and compliance
- Monitoring student progress through data review to inform therapy adjustments
Desired qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with telespeech or teletherapy services, ideally within a school environment
- Familiarity with IEP and ISP documentation and procedures
- Strong clinical supervision skills, with previous experience managing SLPAs preferred
- Ability to engage effectively in virtual meetings and maintain detailed documentation
