Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Prior experience or internships within a school-based environment (K-12 preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels in an onsite capacity
- Maintain detailed documentation of progress and services delivered
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions about student needs and goals
- Stay updated on best practices and continuing education in school-based speech-language pathology
