Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ypsilanti, MI

Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience with K-12 student populations in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans for students
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and IEP documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students onsite across multiple grade levels
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support each student’s individualized goals
- Maintain accurate records, write reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy methods and materials to be developmentally appropriate for each student
- Offer guidance to faculty and participate in professional development as needed
