Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience or strong familiarity working within K-12 educational settings
- Proficiency in delivering assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and conducting therapy sessions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site as part of a multidisciplinary school team
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs across K-12 grade levels
- Develop individualized goals and provide targeted speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student achievement
- Monitor and document student progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings and offer expertise in best practices for speech and language interventions
