Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Michigan SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) warmly considered
- Experience with pediatric or elementary school caseloads is a plus
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide evidence-based therapy sessions on-site or via teletherapy
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes
- Communicate proactively with parents, teachers, and staff to support student development
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school community initiatives
