Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language impairments
- Complete assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Participate in meetings, evaluations, and IEP reviews
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet specific age and ability levels
