Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Indiana licensure required
- ASHA certification
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles strongly preferred
- Solid skills in conducting direct and consultative therapy services
- Ability to write clear, goal-oriented IEPs
- Proficient in facilitating conferences and assuming Teacher of Record (TOR) or Teacher of Service (TOS) responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and consultative support to students ages PK-6th
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Facilitate and participate in IEP conferences as designated TOR or TOS
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all assigned students
- Serve across two nearby school campuses to meet caseload demands
- Stay current with state and federal special education guidelines
This role offers a pay range of $48-$55+ per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. You'll work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, allowing for both work/life balance and professional growth.
