School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Franklin, Indiana

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity delivering speech-language pathology services to students from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade at two vibrant school sites near Franklin, IN. This position begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, offering the chance to make a measurable difference in young learners’ lives.
You’ll work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, across five days, managing a caseload of 60-80 students. This setting will provide opportunities both for direct and consultative services, partnering with teachers, families, and other educational professionals. You’ll hone your skills in delivering impactful interventions, while serving as a valuable resource for your school community.
Key qualifications:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Indiana SLP licensure in good standing
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or comfort working across PK-6th grade populations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Superb organizational and time-management abilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and consult services for a diverse student population
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and facilitate conferences as Teacher of Record (TOR) or Teacher of Service (TOS), as needed
- Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and maximize communication outcomes
Compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $48 to $55+ per hour, and will reflect your experience and expertise.
