Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - AZ

A fully remote contract opportunity is available for speech-language pathology professionals specializing in teletherapy services in the educational setting. This role supports up to 20 billable hours per week, focused on delivering and overseeing telepractice services to students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and providing clinical guidance to two full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Preparing and maintaining IEP/ISP documentation, including developing and updating treatment plans and individualized speech goals
- Participating in IEP meetings for district-placed students to discuss progress and goals
- Reviewing and approving quarterly progress reports to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Reviewing and signing off on SLPA session documentation to maintain quality standards
- Monitoring student progress through data analysis and adjusting therapy plans accordingly
Desired qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in telespeech and teletherapy delivery
- Strong knowledge of special education regulations and IEP processes
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor SLPAs effectively
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for documentation and collaborative meetings
- Familiarity with remote therapy platforms and digital documentation tools
The position is based in Glendale, AZ, but all services and supervision occur remotely. This contract role provides flexibility and professional autonomy in delivering high-quality speech therapy within a school framework.
