This contract position runs from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering 35 hours per week distributed over 3 full days, geared towards providing quality speech therapy to students within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech-language pathology services tailored to students across various grade levels, including elementary and middle school age groups.
- Manage caseloads effectively, with student counts ranging from 40 in elementary to up to 57 during peak periods.
- Collaborate with supervisors to determine caseload assignments aligned with expertise and geographic location.
- Maintain compliance with all credentialing and background check requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Current and active Maryland SLP licensure.
- Minimum of three years experience providing virtual school-based speech therapy services, including at least two years within the past five years, post-COVID.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt therapy sessions to virtual platforms successfully.
- Completion of required background checks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain detailed documentation.
- Candidates must reside within the Eastern Standard Time zone and be able to commit to the designated work schedule.
