Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Maryland
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy. This role supports virtual speech services for school-aged children within the Laurel, MD area. Assignments will correspond with school schedules, running from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services remotely in compliance with school district requirements.
- Manage caseloads that vary by age group and assignment, with elementary caseloads up to 40 students and middle school caseloads around 48.
- Collaborate with supervisors to determine appropriate caseloads based on individual skills and geographic location.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active Maryland Speech Language Pathologist licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in virtual school-based speech therapy services, with at least 2 years within the last 5 years post-COVID.
- Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy platforms.
- Ability to work EST hours to meet scheduling requirements.
