Remote Speech Language Pathologist in MD

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy to school-aged students in the Hyattsville, MD area under a contract arrangement. This role involves delivering virtual speech therapy sessions across elementary and middle school levels, with caseloads adjusted based on experience and student needs. Scheduling typically consists of 35 hours per week spread over three full days, operating within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms.
- Managing caseloads varying by student age and educational level, with support in placement based on individual comfort and expertise.
- Maintaining compliance with all state licensure standards and school district requirements.
- Collaborating with supervisors to tailor service delivery in response to student progress and caseload dynamics.

Qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active Maryland state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- A minimum of three years’ post-COVID virtual school-based experience, with at least two years within the past five years.
- Strong skills in delivering teletherapy and experience with school-aged populations.
- Reliable internet connectivity and ability to work within EST time zone.
- Completion of necessary background check and credentialing processes.
