Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist | Maryland
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist skilled in teletherapy services within a school setting, located in Rockville, MD. This position supports virtual speech-language therapy services, focusing on school-aged children ranging from elementary to middle school levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language pathology services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Manage caseloads that may range from 40 to 57 students, with caseload assignments tailored based on experience and comfort level.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations pertinent to virtual school-based therapy services.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure effective service delivery and caseload management.
- Utilize best practices in telepractice to engage students and optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active, valid Maryland SLP licensure.
- Minimum of three years of virtual school-based speech-language pathology experience post-COVID, with at least two years within the past five years.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques catering to children.
- Residency within the Eastern Standard Time Zone to align with school hours.
- Ability to provide documentation including license images, resume, and professional references.
- Successful completion of required pre-employment background clearance.
Schedule and Location:
- Start date: August 25, 2026; contract end date: June 11, 2027.
- Approximately 35 hours per week over 3 full days, with flexible scheduling options discussed during the interview process.
- Services delivered remotely in the Rockville, Maryland area, within the Washington DC metropolitan region.
