Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in MD

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teletherapy speech and language services to students in a virtual school environment.
- Manage caseloads that vary by student age and educational level, with elementary caseloads up to 40 students and middle school caseloads potentially reaching 57.
- Collaborate with supervisors to determine service schedules and caseload assignments based on individual experience, skill set, and geographic location.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing, credentialing, and district requirements, including completion of background checks and mandated documentation.
- Participate in internal screening and prescreen interviews to assess suitability for the role.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current and active Maryland SLP licensure.
- Minimum of three years of virtual school-based speech therapy experience post-COVID, with at least two years within the last five years.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques tailored to school-aged children.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage large caseloads effectively.
- Availability to provide services for approximately 35 hours per week, structured over three full days.
