Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary learners as a Speech Language Pathologist in the vibrant greater Phoenix area. Multiple positions are available for the 26/27 school year, with flexible full-time and part-time schedules—ranging from K-8 to PreK-6 environments. Work alongside dedicated SLPs and SLPAs to positively impact students’ communication skills and academic experience.
You’ll have the chance to tailor your schedule, whether you prefer a full five-day workweek or seek part-time options. Caseloads will be determined to best fit your strengths, with opportunities for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and ongoing support at each location.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current AZ SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
- Previous experience in a K-12 or PreK-6 school-based setting preferred
- Solid understanding of best practices for inclusive education
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of student communication abilities
- Develop effective, individualized intervention strategies and goals
- Write and update IEPs, ensuring compliance and meaningful outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, working closely with families and educators
- Provide both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Submit timely evaluation reports and Medicaid reimbursement documentation
- Schedule and deliver services as outlined in student IEPs
- Serve as a resource and consultant for staff and parents
