What you’ll bring:
- Active Arizona SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Background working with school-age children, especially in elementary/PreK-8 settings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
Key responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive speech, articulation, fluency, and language assessments
- Evaluate student skill levels, progress, and achievement
- Develop and revise Individual Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings
- Schedule and provide direct and consultative speech therapy services
- Complete and submit Direct Service Billing - Medicaid Reimbursement forms
- Write thorough evaluation summary reports
- Partner with parents, teachers, and staff on student progress and strategies
- Adapt service models as needed based on caseload and campus assignments
