Multiple openings are available for the 2026-2027 school year, providing the chance to work with elementary or K-8 populations across several schools. You'll collaborate with dedicated SLPs and SLPAs, allowing for both full-time and part-time scheduling to best fit your professional goals.
In this role, you’ll be a vital member of the educational and therapeutic team, delivering essential speech and language services. Adapt your expertise to unique caseloads ranging from PreK to grade 8. Positions offer a mix of on-site collaboration and independent initiative, with assignments offering flexibility based on your preferences and experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Arizona SLP license and IVP fingerprint card required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt service delivery models based on caseload needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer formal and informal assessments to evaluate communication skills
- Design, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Take part in IEP meetings and work closely with family and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in accordance with IEPs
- Complete reports, Medicaid reimbursement forms, and maintain thorough records
- Provide expertise in initial and re-evaluations for speech and language needs
