What you’ll bring:
- Active AZ SLP license
- SLP-CCC credentials
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
- Experience in school-based settings (elementary, middle, or both preferred)
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and other SLP professionals
- Commitment to helping students achieve communication and educational goals
What you’ll do:
- Administer assessments to determine student skill levels and progress
- Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Consult with parents, teachers, and staff
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services as indicated in IEPs
- Complete all necessary Medicaid reimbursement documentation
- Conduct initial and re-evaluations focused on articulation, voice, fluency, and language
- Prepare and submit comprehensive evaluation summary reports
- Schedule services for students based on individual needs and school assignments
