Qualifications expected:
- Valid Arizona SLP License
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Key responsibilities:
- Administer assessments to determine students’ skills and track progress
- Participate in the development and revision of Individual Education Programs (IEPs)
- Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings
- Provide both direct and consultative speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations targeting articulation, voice, fluency, and language
- Write comprehensive evaluation summary reports
- Submit Medicaid Reimbursement forms for provided direct services as needed
- Engage in ongoing consultation with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Foster students’ learning by developing strategies to optimize communication effectiveness
