Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification required
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders both encouraged to apply
- Experience within school-based settings is preferred
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs
- Develop individualized IEP goals tailored to promote each child's communication success
- Deliver direct therapy—both one-on-one and in group settings—within the elementary school population
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families, fostering collaborative strategies that enhance student progress
- Accurately maintain records, documentation, and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Regularly monitor student outcomes and adapt intervention approaches as necessary
