Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred
- Confidence working with elementary-aged children in a group and individual setting
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement speech and language intervention plans
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable managing caseloads of 26-27 students at two separate sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and small group formats
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student development and success
- Create engaging, age-appropriate materials and activities to facilitate communication skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
