Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in New York State (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or interest in pediatrics and school-based settings
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and delivery of speech-language services
- Comfortable providing direct and teletherapy services
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and student records
- Communicate effectively with staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in meetings, development opportunities, and case management as needed
