Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidacy
- License or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in New York
- Experience working in pediatric, school, or healthcare SLP settings
- Teletherapy credentials and experience are desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- New graduates and Clinical Fellows are warmly encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-age population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver services both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Maintain ongoing documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage in frequent collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
