School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Syracuse, New York

These positions begin as soon as possible and are essential in delivering high-quality speech therapy services within dynamic school-based programs. Openings are available for multiple contract roles:
- Full-time positions (2) within a 12:1:3 classroom program serving students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those with severe multiple disabilities in the Onondaga County area.
- Part-time role (3-4 days per week) working in an 8:1:1 program in Cortland County, focused on providing essential behavior support to students requiring individualized attention.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and/or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a plus; Clinical Fellows welcome with onsite supervision provided
- Experience or strong interest in school settings, particularly with ASD and severe/multiple disabilities
- Knowledge of augmentative communication and behavior support strategies advantageous
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Deliver direct therapeutic services to students individually and in groups
- Provide support and consultation for teachers and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
