Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid or eligibility for SLP licensure in New York State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA highly preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience supporting students with ASD, severe multiple disabilities, or those requiring behavior supports is a strong plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech-language therapy in either a 12:1:3 or 8:1:1 classroom setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
- Deliver services for students with autism spectrum disorder and/or severe multiple disabilities
- Record progress and maintain accurate documentation in line with IDEA and program standards
- Participate in team meetings, family consultations, and ongoing staff development
Role Details:
- Two full-time openings available in a 12:1:3 program (Onondaga County area), specializing in students with ASD or complex needs
- One part-time opportunity (3-4 days/week) in a supportive 8:1:1 program (Cortland County), focused on behavior support
- Onsite mentorship ensures strong support for new clinicians and CFs
