School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Watertown, Connecticut

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Active SLP licensure in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY designation
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with high school-age students in a school setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, primarily in a high school setting
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and help guide educational planning for students
- Work closely with educational staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom
- Serve as a resource for families and educators about strategies and tools for success
