Key Qualifications:
- Possession of, or eligibility for, CT Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
- Strong background in providing SLP services in school settings
- Experience working with adolescent populations preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy to students with communication disorders
- Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based solutions
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support language development
