You’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to assess, diagnose, and support students’ communication needs. Serving a diverse caseload, your expertise will help foster students’ confidence, independence, and academic achievement. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply; mentorship and support are available for those early in their careers.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Texas
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Comfort working onsite within a school setting
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt to varying assignments
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Dedication to supporting students from diverse backgrounds
- Openness to full-time, 37.5 hours/week commitment during the school year
- Bilingual skills are highly valued
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans
- Document progress and maintain thorough records
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support through direct and consultative services
- Deliver services to students as assigned, with possible itinerant placements
