Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is a plus, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged as well
- Effective communication, flexibility, and strong collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students individually or in small groups
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide services primarily at one school site, with potential for itinerant assignments as needed
- Adapt therapy plans to meet the varied developmental needs within your caseload
