School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Tomball, Texas

Step into a meaningful role supporting students in the North Houston area as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Working full-time on-site in a school setting, you'll deliver specialized speech and language services to help students reach their full potential. With the flexibility of primarily serving one campus and the opportunity for itinerant assignments, you'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams while shaping positive educational outcomes.
This full-time contract position runs from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering 37.5 hours weekly. Caseload specifics and age groups will be determined based on district needs, providing variety and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid or eligible for state licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required (clinical fellows are welcome to apply)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to various school environments and work with diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address student needs
- Provide therapy sessions and progress monitoring
- Consult with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district/state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Offer support across one or several campuses as needed by the district
