School Speech Language Pathologist - Spring, TX
Make a meaningful impact in schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026–2027 academic year! These contract roles offer the opportunity to provide crucial speech and language services directly to students in a dynamic, supportive environment—perfect for those passionate about education and communication sciences.
Openings are available across elementary, middle, and high schools, with a focus on delivering on-site support and collaborative team engagement. Whether you bring extensive experience as an SLP or are a licensed SLPA, your expertise will help students thrive academically and socially.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (must be current and verifiable)
- Prior school-based experience required
- SLPAs must already hold licensure—no supervision hours provided to obtain licensure
- Must be able to work on-site; remote options are unavailable
- Not accepting SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs)
- Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week)
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting
Expected Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student communication needs
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and progress documentation
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and team activities
- Maintain compliance with all documentation, licensure, and fingerprinting requirements
