Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Helotes, TX

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits Speech Language Pathologists (CCC) looking to make a meaningful difference in K-8 education. You will serve two campuses, supporting students from Kindergarten to eighth grade through both direct service and case management. This hybrid role requires the flexibility to be on campus at least two days per week, with an initial expectation of three days during the start of the assignment to build strong relationships and support your SLPA colleagues.
Responsibilities include supervising an SLPA, managing cases, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with campus administrators and education teams. You’ll focus on expanding student access to vital speech-language services while facilitating dynamic communication between staff and families.
Qualifications/Preferred Background:
- Active Texas SLP licensure, with documentation from the Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) preferred
- Experience supervising and mentoring SLPAs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual abilities are welcome, but not required
- Ability to work a full 40-hour week (7:30am–4pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch); possible adjustment to 37.5 hours if necessary
- Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule, balancing on-site and remote work as rapport is established
