Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required for SLP/CF applicants)
- Texas SLP license, or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP, CFY, or SLPA
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY applicants with recent practicum/clinical experience
- Experience with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite therapy to ECSE 3-year-olds through 1st-grade students in group and individual settings
- Address a spectrum of needs, such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, and social/pragmatic skills
- Develop and implement customized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Participate in student evaluations, data collection, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and an interdisciplinary team
- CFs will benefit from structured clinical supervision and mentorship
This contract role offers consistent weekly hours (37.5 per week), and the chance to make a daily impact in students’ lives. The school is situated in a close-knit, supportive community, approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from the West New Mexico border.
